A part of the building where Mirza Ghalib spent the last few years of his life at Gali Qasim Jaan, Ballimaran, Chandni Chowk was resurrected aesthetically to its original splendor. A memorial museum was set up at the site within the acquired space with various facets of Ghalib’s life. It was inaugurated and opened to the public on 27th December 2000, on the birth anniversary of Mirza Ghalib.
The memorial is open on all days (11:00 am- 6:00 pm) except on Mondays and Gazetted holidays.
